My name is Stanley Dryden, and I’m a proud Yorta Yorta man from Shepparton
I didn’t grow up with privilege. I grew up on the streets, raised by my father, learning hard lessons early. I know what it means to struggle and to be counted out. But I also know resilience. I know the strength that comes from refusing to give up.
Through determination and belief, I built myself into a successful businessman and travelled the world sharing our culture, proving our people are strong, talented, and capable of leading.
No matter where life has taken me, my heart has remained with my community our families and young people who deserve safety, opportunity, and pride in who they are.
I’m not seeking a seat on the First Peoples’ Assembly for recognition or power. I’m stepping forward to serve. Real leadership is listening, standing firm in culture, and creating pathways for jobs, education, and stronger futures.
I’ve walked the hard road. I’ve built success from nothing. Now I’m ready to stand up for our people and fight for better outcomes.
If you believe in strength, culture, and opportunity walk with me.
Let’s move forward together.
