Lawrence Moser

I am a Taungurung descendant.

I have a diverse employment background as an apprentice carpenter, roles in the education sector as a Teacher Aid, Koori Educator, employment in the TAFE sector, land management, CEO roles with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, the legal sector and operating my own commercial business.

I bring a strong governance and business background. I am a current Board member on the Kinaway Chamber Commerce, Chair of the Eastern Region Aboriginal Justice Advisory Committee, Aboriginal Justice Caucus member, Victorian member of the National Indigenous Business Chamber Alliance, board member Eastern Community Legal Centre and past member of the Victorian Anti Racism Task Force. I am also a current member in the Koori Courts Victoria.

Through my roles on the Kinaway Business Chamber, NIBCA, RAJAC and Koori Courts I see the urgency of strong Policy and Process for Confirmation of Aboriginality, the need for an Authorising body, Self Determined guidelines, standards and practises.

I will ensure your voice is heard, I will advocate, engage and meet, bring a focus, experiences, skills and knowledge to effect strong Policy, Practices through Gellung Warl for you. I will respect your vote, your aspirations, your voice for grass roots community.
