I have worked with many Aboriginal Community and Government agencies; I have held positions on many different organisation boards and community networks. I am a passionate member of Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative Geelong where I have been actively involved with the developments of the organisations. My passion and commitment are for our voice and recognition as treaty is on us in Victoria and that our native title is also being recognised on our land. We survive with our sovereignty never ceded and we continue to own and care the land in its cultural values.
I have nominated to represent the community on the Gellung Warl treaty assembly living on Wadda Wurrung country for over 20 years.
My focus is to keep the community up to date and advised through regular community meetings and to take our voice of the community forward to the Treaty so that our voice and vision will be always recognised and accepted on any decisions being made for the goodness and betterment of our MOB.
As a long serving member of the local community organisations, where I continue to strengthen our vision and networks in the region of the southwest communities.
