Isobel Morphy-Walsh

I am a proud Taungurung woman who has been actively involved in the community since my childhood. I believe strongly in serving my community and have done so in numerous ways across the years.

I have served as a board member  for TLaWC, VACL’s board in 2022-2023 and am also a former member of the Youth Council of the Healing Foundation. I gave testimony as part of the Yoorook hearings.

I believe in bringing the mob on the journey, in truth and accountability. I am passionate about our mob receiving redress and see self determination as vital. I have great desire to create systemic change embedding our cultural values across legislations and systems that affect us.

In particular I have a passion for education, heritage, culture, law and truth. I’m invested in local representation in the management of  forests, grasslands and waterways and at local council level. I’m invested in continuing the truth telling process and am committed to the embedding of truth in the state wide curriculum.
