Born in FITZROY I am a proud Larrakia/ Pitjanjara / Arantee/ Wurundjeri man residing in Irymple – Mildura. I am honoured to apply & possess the attributes & Knowledge required.

I have been up here for 7 years.

I have recently retired Detective Senior Sergeant after 32 years of service with Victoria Police working –

Dandenong, St Kilda, Fitzroy, Collingwood & Ballarat SOCIT.  Homicide, Organised Crime, & Drug Squad.

The incarceration rate is high across Australia & support is drastically required. Growing up in foster care showed me firsthand obstacles that we face.

I have embedded myself in the local Aboriginal communities at all work/home locations & made valuable contacts/networks.

Tertiary qualifications –  Monash University, CSU & University of Tasmania.  

Bachelor of Social Science.  Diploma’s- Business Management, Industrial Relations & Employee Law, Human Resource Management & Psychology, Child Sexual & Exploitation, Cyber & International Fraud & Applied Aboriginals Studies.

I have experience in collaborating & delivering Policies for legislation. 

Advocating for Aboriginal peoples in the legal system.  Volunteering with organisations such as Galiamble- St Kilda, Collingwood NJC, MVAC & Maysar. 

I have Chaired panels as subject matter expert for Family Violence &  legal systems.
