Wunman Njinde my people,

I am nominating myself for the Melbourne Metro region.

There’s never been any doubt about who I am and who I represent in my personal life and career. I am a Proud Kurnai woman with ancestral connections to Djab Wurrung, I am descended from great leaders.

It is with these statements in mind that I would like a chance to fight for our peoples rights and opportunities, as an elected member of the First People’s Assembly of Victoria. 

For the next generation, in honour our ancestors and in line with our traditions, values and beliefs. I aspire to hold government accountable to its commitments and work hard to implement Treaty and meet the objectives set out in Gellung Warl. 

I am passionate about Culture and community, systems reforms, trauma recovery and First Nations spirituality and wellbeing.
