My name is Cathy Austin I am a proud Gunditjmara woman born and raised in community.

Through my candidacy in the metro region, I commit to being a dependable strong voice to share your vision and aspirations for Treaty.

I am a natural leader and carry the strength and wisdom of my Elders.

I will lead with generosity and kindness supporting the next generation and those not yet engaged on this journey.

I understand the significance of this role and will not shy away from challenging work while staying true to my deep cultural knowledge.

With over 30 years experience working in government and Koori organisations at a grassroots level I have the skills and experience to make a difference.

I have advised and advocated on multiple boards and committees being a genuine and inspiring voice for our people.

This experience holds me in good stead to be your representative on Treaty.
